FRP PULTRUDED GRATING

GridEX® STRUCTURAL PULTRUDED FRP GRATING

GridEX® pultruded FRP grating systems are engineered to meet the growing demands of industrial projects across Asia, especially in environments where traditional fibreglass grating solutions may not deliver the required performance. The GridEX® pultruded FRP grating range includes a wide selection of configurations, including varying open area options, cross-rod positioning, bar profiles, customised fabrication, colour selections, and resin systems tailored to project requirements.

The “I” bar profile provides excellent adaptability for specialised grating layouts and load requirements. In contrast, the “T” bar profile delivers a stronger, more stable walking surface designed to minimise the risk of tools, equipment, or debris becoming trapped between load bars. The pultruded FRP bar profile is purpose-built for demanding industrial environments and is highly suitable for heavy-duty wheel loads such as forklifts, pallet movers, industrial carts, and logistics traffic.

Anti-Slip Surface Designed for high-performance industrial environments, the anti-slip surface provides exceptional wear resistance and superior traction under both dry and wet conditions. Independent laboratory testing confirms its excellent slip resistance performance. Unlike serrated steel grating, this surface maintains structural load capacity without compromising operator safety, making it ideal for factories, plants, and processing facilities across Asia.

Ribbed Surface This made-to-order option is widely selected for applications requiring robust covered flooring with enhanced structural strength. The system is manufactured with Checkerplate or Anti-Slip surfaces bonded directly onto each load bar, ensuring long-term durability and reliable performance in heavy industrial and corrosive environments.

Covered Surface The covered surface option is commonly specified for industries where dust, waste materials, or processing by-products can accumulate within open grating systems. It is especially suitable for food processing plants, hygiene-sensitive facilities, wet production areas, and washdown environments where easy cleaning and workplace safety are essential.

The advanced composite material used in GridEX® pultruded FRP grating is approximately 35% lighter than aluminium and significantly lighter than conventional steel alternatives. This reduced weight simplifies transportation, handling, and installation across large industrial sites. Manufactured using pultruded FRP technology, GridEX® grating can also be cut and adjusted onsite using standard hand tools, eliminating the need for hot-work equipment such as grinders, welding, or cutting torches.

GridEX® grating systems are commonly available in 25 mm, 38 mm, and 50 mm depth profiles.
