FRP MOULDED GRATING

FIBERGLASS RECTANGULAR & HEAVY DUTY RECTANGULAR MESH

The GratEX® FRP rectangular mesh range is engineered to deliver the same performance advantages as square and mini mesh moulded grating, while offering wider open areas for improved light flow and efficient drainage of excess materials and liquids. These rectangular mesh panels are widely used across coastal facilities, industrial platforms, transport infrastructure, water treatment plants, processing industries, and demanding commercial environments throughout Asia.

GratEX® FRP rectangular mesh solutions are available in multiple surface finishes and colour selections, allowing you to align the product with your operational, safety, and project design requirements.

Surface Finish Options

Anti-Slip Surface

This FRP surface is mainly used for industrial purposes. It is hardwearing and features a good co-efficient of friction (NATA laboratory test report available). Unlike serrated steel grating, the anti-slip surface of this product does not place an impact on the load carrying capacity.

Concave Surface

This is one of the most preferred surfaces for industrial environments where the by-products are caught by the process of serrations. This surface option can also be utilised for guarding purposes to allow safe handling/ contact.

Plain Surface

The surface is a non-stock option and is mainly used for architectural features in commercial applications. Whilst the aesthetics of the product is improved over the other options, the anti-slip properties do not compare in effectiveness.

Anti-Slip Surface

Designed for industrial and high-traffic applications, this durable FRP surface provides enhanced slip resistance and dependable footing in wet and demanding environments. Independent slip resistance testing reports are available upon request. Unlike traditional serrated steel grating, the anti-slip finish maintains excellent load-bearing performance without compromising structural integrity.

Concave Surface

A preferred option for industrial processing environments, the concave surface helps improve traction while supporting efficient handling of liquids and process residue. This surface profile is also suitable for safety barriers and protective screening applications where safe contact and handling are essential.

Plain Surface

The plain surface option is commonly selected for architectural and commercial installations where a clean, modern appearance is important. While it offers an enhanced visual finish compared to textured alternatives, its slip resistance performance is lower than anti-slip and concave surface options.
