HygiGR8®
The Treadwell HygiGR8® range has been purpose-built to support the operational demands of the food and beverage manufacturing sector across Asia. Designed to simplify hygiene management and routine sanitation processes, HygiGR8® delivers a dependable and high-performance food grade grating solution for both newly constructed and upgraded food production environments.
HygiGR8® combines the practical advantages of solid top flooring with the airflow and drainage benefits of open mesh grating. This innovative configuration helps minimise hygiene concerns caused by food particles and waste collecting between grating sections and support structures. Each HygiGR8® panel is engineered with a customisable solid edge band that strategically covers the underlying support beams, helping create a cleaner and more sanitary flooring system.
The grating system is manufactured using premium-grade polyester resin that is thoroughly tested to comply with food-grade requirements. Every panel undergoes a controlled curing process and is carefully cleaned using industrial-grade detergents before delivery.
Treadwell ensures the HygiGR8® grating range is suitable for a wide variety of food and beverage processing applications when correctly installed and maintained as a safe anti-slip flooring or walkway solution. The system complies with internationally recognised hygiene standards for flooring surfaces and can be customised to suit different facility layouts and operational requirements.
Surface Options
Anti-Slip Surface
A gritted anti-slip finish is recommended for areas exposed to moisture, oils or regular washdowns where additional grip is essential. The surface is designed to deliver strong slip resistance and long-term durability, helping improve worker safety in demanding processing environments.
Concave Surface
HygiGR8® is also available with a concave surface profile to support faster and more effective cleaning. This option is particularly beneficial in facilities where food residue or by-products may accumulate within surface grooves. While it offers excellent cleanability, the slip resistance level is lower compared to the gritted anti-slip finish.
