FRP Conductive Grating
EX-Series® CONDUCTIVE FRP GRATING
EX-Series® conductive grating is engineered to safely dissipate accumulated static electricity when properly grounded, making it ideal for environments where electrostatic discharge can create operational or safety concerns. Designed with advanced conductivity performance, this specialised grating system delivers electrical resistance below 26 kilo-ohms-foot while retaining the durability and performance advantages associated with traditional FRP moulded grating.
Standard fibreglass gratings are typically non-conductive and are widely used in electrically controlled environments for their insulation properties. However, in facilities where static discharge presents a potential hazard, EX-Series® conductive grating provides an effective solution. Featuring a carbon-infused black surface layer, the grating enables the controlled release of static charges generated on FRP walking surfaces, reducing risks in sensitive industrial settings. It is commonly specified for sectors such as electronics manufacturing, petrochemical processing, chemical handling plants, energy facilities, defence operations, and other environments containing high-value electrical systems or volatile materials.
The EX-Series® moulded conductive surface can be integrated across a wide range of grating configurations and is compatible with all EX-Series® resin systems, allowing flexible customisation to meet diverse industrial requirements throughout Asia.
